♡ Brand Focus – Soap & Glory ♡

IMG_6277

Soap & Glory are a brand that I’ve been aware of for a while but didn’t really dabble in until very recently! I’m sure I’m not alone in this – but over the last few months Boots have been sending me a little box each month containing a lovely little Soap & Glory sample. It really got my attention and since then I have picked up a few products, so I thought I would talk to you about my experience so far with this brand.

Something that is true to all these products is the amazing packaging. Soap & Glory have really got their unique selling point down, the quirky names and gorgeous packaging. It’s so distinctive and unique – these are the kind of products you want to have out on display on your dressing table or in your bath room! They may not be the most luxurious looking products but they sure are cute.

I talked about The Righteous Butter in my recent June favourites post – this was one of samples I received from Boots, along with the Hand Food and the Face Soap & Clarity. The samples are quite a generous size and I was so excited to receive them. The hand food is really lovely as it has a nice soft scent and it is not overly oily. I haven’t tried out the facial wash yet but I am really excited to try it as it contains little exfoliating beads which I think will be great for clearing out my pores.

There are certain products from Soap & Glory which have been raved about by many bloggers – I often tend to avoid these hyped up products until I’m pretty certain they will work for me (I like to do lots of thorough research). So last weekend I decided it was time that I got my hands on Solar Powder! Why did I wait so long to buy this beautiful bronzer? It’s the perfect shade for my skin tone, which is surprising as I normally find drugstore bronzers are too dark for me. It’s such a satisfying feeling to find a product that really does live up to the hype.

I also want to quickly mention the Soap & Glory Super Cat eye liner and the Brow Archery pencil. I am going to put my hands up and say it, I suck at winged liner and I try my best to avoid it at all costs as it’s a very stressful experience. But the Super cat eye liner has made the process so much easier for me – I would highly recommend it to anyone who isn’t confident at pulling off winged liner, or has a very unsteady hand like me! The brow archery pencil is another fond favourite of mine – it is great for the days when I wanted a more defined brow but it’s not so dark that it makes my brows look OTT.

The next Soap & Glory products on my wish list are the massage glove which I’ve heard works really well for washing make up brushes and I’d also really like to try one of their plumping lip glosses.

What are your favourite Soap & Glory products?

  1. Ohmygosh I’m so bad at winged liner so supercat sounds like my kind of thing…(although is it waterproof? I keep accidentally buying waterproof eyeliners so after I experiment I can’t wash it off my eyes and have to walk around like a panda for a day!) Super cute post x

    1. Thanks so much for your lovely comment 🙂 I’m exactly the same and that’s why I love it so much! I don’t think it’s waterproof as I’ve found it really easy to remove xx

  2. You’re so lucky Boots have been sending you packages that’s so nice! I love Soap and Glory, my favourite bits from their makeup range like you’ve mentioned are Archery and Solar Powder as well as the Kick Ass Concealer, One Heck of a Blot powder, the DIY Brow Bar and the What’s Nude eyeshadow quad. I have to say I’m not a huge fan of the lip plumpers (don’t like the scent) and mascara because it’s not waterproof!

      1. Really lightweight and not at all cakey! I have quite oily/combination skin and it lets a bit of shine/glow through in the summer so I think it would work well with dry skin!

  3. Flake Away is BY FAR my favourite scrub by any brand. Skin feels beyond incredible afterwards and it’s in my top five summer products.

  4. I adore soap&glory. I have most of their products… i’m not even kidding. I recently did a blog about their new skincare range, which is so lush. I have several lipglosses; the sexy mother pucker really really tingles when it plumps up your lips but I LOVE that! I like knowing a product is working haha! My absolute favourite product though is the smoothie star body milk

  5. I am so guilty of rabbiting on about Soap and Glory! My top three would be their Thick and Fast Mascara False Lash Extension, their hot cloth cleanser Ultimelt (great dupe for the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish) and their Sugar Crush shower gel 🙂 great post! Xoxo
