High End Beauty Wish-list

I have a little notebook where I like to write down all my blog ideas, and also products I’ve seen on other blogs/videos that I want to try out. I was reading through my wishlist last week in the run up to payday and I had a sudden realisation of how many high end products I am lusting after at the moment! So I decided it was time I did another wish-list post.

Clinique Melon Pop Cheek Pop – I’m in love with the Melon Pop lipstick so I feel as if I one hundred percent need the blush to match. I have a real soft spot for peachy toned blushes at the moment, and I don’t actually own many high end blushers so I feel this would fill a gap in my collection.

The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer – I am slightly torn between this and the Cindy-Lou Manizer so if you have tried either of them please let me know. I feel like champagne toned highlights really suit my skin tone and I’ve heard nothing but good things about this product.

mac_lightscapade001

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade – Another highlight I know, but doesn’t this just look completely mesmerising? When I first got into highlighters it was a real toss up between this & Soft and Gentle. Soft and Gentle won and since then Lightscapade kind of slipped off my radar. Recently I’ve really been craving a more pearlescent highlight and I know that Lightscapade won’t fail to disappoint.

NARS Copacabana Illuminator – You may be surprised to hear I actually haven’t tried any NARS products! I first heard about Copacabana when I started watching Gabby’s YouTube channel – Velvetghost. I have been loving MAC Strobe cream so much I thought it was about time I branched out and tried another illuminating cream.

Estee Lauder Doublewear Light – I recently picked up a sample of this foundation and I am very impressed. The original Doublewear didn’t really suit my dry skin and I found it really cakey, but the light version is just perfect for me. I’m trying to hold off purchasing this until I have finished some of my current base products.

Master_nakedconcealer_alt1

Urban Decay NAKED Skin Concealer – I’ve been on the hunt for a great high end concealer for a while but with so much choice it’s taken me a while to make up my mind. Over the past few weeks I’ve read so many positive reviews about this Urban Decay concealer so when I next stop by the Urban Decay counter I will definitely be picking this up.

pp_lip_cheat_pillow_talk_mainCharlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk – When I was in London last month it took so much restraint for me not to splurge at the Charlotte Tilbury counter. But I’ve decided that although the products are pretty expensive I need this lip liner in my life as it’s such a different shade to the other liners I own. And let’s be honest, who can resist that rose gold packaging?

Lorac Pro 2 Palette – It makes me so sad that Lorac isn’t available to purchase very easily in the UK. I have heard so many good things about their palettes from some of the US bloggers that I follow so I am desperate to get my hands on this palette. Recently I’ve really been leaning towards more cool toned shadows and I think the olive shimmer shade in this palette is absolutely stunning.

MAC Eye Shadow Quad – This will be the first time that I’ve delved into the big wide world of MAC eye shadows so I would appreciate any suggestions. I’d like to put together quite a neutral quad with some pretty shimmer shades. I’ve had my eye on Woodwinked and Petina for a while but I’m still feeling a bit unsure, so as I’ve already said if you have any suggestions please let me know!

      1. I’ve got the mascara (which is amazing!!) a lipstick and lip liner, a whitey coloured eye liner for your waterline (although i don’t recommend that, it just rubs off) and the concealer – which is really good, but it took mine ages to get working. it’s the twisted top ones where the product comes down onto the brush when you twist it but mine refused for ages. 🙂 x

    1. Haha it was actually your review that convinced me to get the concealer, I’m just waiting until I go to Bristol in a few weeks so I can be colour matched. It’s so bad as my drugstore wish list is basically non existent now, but I think I’m gonna have to treat myself to some of these products 🙂 xx

  1. I basically want everything on this lost too except the Nars illuminator which I have and is so gorgeous! I am totally with you on the Clinique blush, since I have the lipstick I totally need the matching blush haha! Perfect excuse for something new, eh!

      1. Exactly haha! Its so nice! I really do think its worth it! You get a whole 30ml of product which is the size of a usual bottle of foundation and of course you only need the tiniest amount so it lasts for so long! Its just so gorgeous too, cause its liquid it looks super fresh and radiant!

  2. I have both the mary lou manizer and the cindy lou one. I love them both, but I definitely get more use from mary lou, as it looks great on cheeks, brow bones and inner corner, down the nose and cupids bow, while I can’t use the cindy lou in the same was as its pinky, its best on the cheeks x

    1. Haha yes I’m definitely on the brink of caving at the moment! Although I’m trying my best to hold off. I ordered the Zoeva Cocoa blend eye shadow palette tonight and I’m planning on a big splurge in a couple of weeks when I head to the city to go shopping (I’m going to pick up some stuff for the exchange then too ;)) xx

    1. Which lorac palette do you have? They are so hard to get hold of in the UK 😫 I’m doing a beauty exchange with a friend of mine who lives in Florida so I’m hoping she will pick it up for me, but that’s not Til September eek! I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait!

      1. I have Lorac Pro and Pro Palette 2. I think Lorac Pro (original) is the best. There is also Lorac Unzipped and Unzipped Gold. I would like to get either of those. You will find their shadows are very pigmented and blend out like velvet. They really make wonderful eye shadows!!
