The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter has given my skincare routine a proper shake up, and has quickly become my new favourite cleansing product! In the past I’ve not always spent enough time removing my make up and cleansing my skin. My first real cleanser break through was Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, but this product has over taken that and become my new favourite.
This cleansing butter retails at Β£13.00 for 90ml of product. The Body Shop says this indulgent make up remover will gently and effectively melt away make up and impurities, leaving skin feeling clean, refreshed and pampered.
This product is suitable for all skin types but I have found it works especially well with my dry skin as the buttery consistency softens the skin and gives back moisture. The butter has a really soft camomile scent and it feels so luxurious on the skin.
Very little product is required to cleanse the entire face. I’ve been using it for almost a month now and you can see in the photo above I have barely used any product at all. I tend to use a little bit extra around my eyes but it really does melt away your eye make up with ease. I find this works even better than Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish to remove my eye makeup – as it literally wipes away once the butter has been rubbed in.
This product hasn’t irritated my sensitive skin at all which is great, as some skincare products can leave my skin very red after using them. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
I have only two small gripes with this product, both are associated with the packaging! The first one due to it being in a tin, you have to use your fingers each time to dispense the product which I’m not 100% keen on. The only other thing which annoys me slightly is the lid, it can be a bit of a pain to get on & off. But these comments are very minimal in comparison with the things I love about this product.
I am so pleased that I discovered this product and I can’t see myself changing my cleanser for a long time now. I would highly recommend trying it especially if you have dry/normal skin. I can imagine this product may be slightly too moisturising for those with more oily skin.
You’ve reminded me of how great this product is! I’m about to run out my cleanser and I will definitely repurchase this. Great review!

Ooh that does sound lovely! Yes I think so, but I also really love their face mists too. I’m using the vitamin c one at the moment and I like using it to dampen my beauty blender, it’s great!
