LUSH Frozen Bath Bomb | The Review

IMG_8391

LUSH reviews seem to be becoming a bit of a regular thing on my blog at the moment! But since LUSH launched their new range of bath bombs I’ve been on a mission to try them all out & share my thoughts with you. I know it may seem a bit repetitive but my end goal is to do a post on my top five LUSH bath products (let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in). Now lets get on with this review..

LUSH says ‘Enjoy the most magical soak in the kingdom with this shimmering blue bath bomb, which spills out rolling snowdrifts of silver lustre. Uplifting neroli from Tunisia and precious rose oil from Turkey are sure to spread a little sunshine and melt the iciest of moods.’

I put off purchasing this bath bomb for a few months as when smelling it in store I wasn’t too bowled over by it. But I must admit I have warmed to the scent over time, the grapefruit oil gives it a fresh citrus scent along with floral notes from the rose oil. Once in the water the scent really mellows out and it is very relaxing. I was actually surprised how much I liked the scent whilst in the water.

My favourite thing about the Frozen bath bomb is the colours! LUSH have really hit the nail on the head with this one. The bright blue is such a good match for the colour of Elsa’s dress and it just screams Disney. The paler shade is also really lovely and snow like, it really takes your bath into the fairytale (cringe-worthy I know!). I love how the two colours mix together when the bomb hits the water, it spins leaving trails of blue all around the tub which was just gorgeous.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this bath bomb! It was really hard for me find something about this bomb that I disliked.. like not even one tiny thing! With some of the other bath bombs from the new range I have found the glitter to be way too intense and difficult to clean up, but that wasn’t the case at all with this one.

If you are a Frozen fan, or you are looking for a nice relaxing bath bomb to use for a pamper night – I would highly recommend giving this one a try.

I did a guest post earlier this week on my lovely friend Valentina’s blog – which was a review of LUSH’s Yoga bomb! Click here to see my guest post and be sure to give Valentina a follow.

Have you tried this bath bomb? What are your thoughts on the new LUSH bath bombs?

  1. I saw this one when I last went into LUSH but didn’t smell it so didn’t know it was a citrus scent – those are my faves. Might have to pick this one up! Loved this review, very helpful. Thanks chick! I love LUSH posts, I don’t think they’re repetitive as LUSH have so many awesome products πŸ™‚ xo
