I’ve made the big and horrible decision to put myself on a spending ban for the month of November (I’m starting on 27/10/15 so that I can end the ban in time for my trip to London on 28/11/15!). I thought with it being the run up to Christmas I would try reign in my spending and I’m determined to last the entire month.
With that said, I knew I had to have one final haul to get it out my system before the ban begins. I definitely needed to stock up on LUSH so that I had plenty of bath products to last me until our trip to London so that was at the top of my agenda. I had a Boots gift card I needed to spend too, so I just couldn’t resist a proper shopping trip.
Body Shop Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream – I purchased this earlier in the week from my local Body Shop consultant but wanted to include it in this haul. When the seasons change I always like to switch up my skincare. This moisturiser is really rich but my skin drinks it up so quickly, so far I’m really liking it.
Nightwing Shower Jelly – I’m so pleased I have finally purchased this adorable pot of joy! This shower jelly is shaped like a little bat and smells like green fruit pastilles/wine gums.
Snow Fairy Shower Gel – The most anticipated LUSH Christmas product, but one that I have never tried before. Snow Fairy is a super sweet scent, I had to try it to see what all the fuss was about.
Mask of Magnaminty – I purchased this face and body mask for my boyfriend as he’s been struggling with his skin recently. He is going to report back to me on how he gets on with this, I’m so excited I’ve got him to try LUSH products.
Cup O’ Coffee Face & Body Mask – Lots of people have been praising this exfoliating mask in the blogging community recently. The scent wasn’t really what I expected, as it’s almost like liquorice rather than coffee but I’m excited to see if this works well with my skin.
Magic of Christmas Reusable Bubble Bar – I knew I would end up purchasing this sooner or later, so I thought why not buy it before the ban in the hope that this would prevent me from caving. This gold glistening star smells of orange and cinnamon, I just think it looks too adorable!
L’Oreal Infallible 24hr Matte Foundation (11 Vanilla) – As my skin has started to become more oily recently I thought it was about time I gave this a try. The shade selection in store was pretty poor so I really hope this matches my skin tone okay.
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm (225 Sultry) – Revlon are probably one of the only drugstore brands I haven’t really ventured into. After hearing many of the larger YouTubers talk about this including Suzie from Hello October and Tanya Burr, I wanted to see what I had been missing. This shade is a really gorgeous dark pinky nude, similar to MAC’s Brave but slightly deeper.
Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara – When I posted recently asking for mascara advice, the most common drugstore recommendation was definitely False Lash Effect. This is the first mascara I’ve tried from Max Factor so I am intrigued to see how it compares to my current mascara picks.
Collection #FaceTheDay Palette – This is a very recent release from Collection. They have brought out a range of various palettes, including a cheek palette, contour palette as well as eye shadow palettes. Face The Day has highlight, bronzer & blush as well as eye shadows. At just £6.99 this was such a bargain, I’m sure this will feature in an upcoming MOTD post.
What products have you picked up recently?
I love Snow Fairy!
I haven’t seen the LUSH Christmas range this year but that Magic of Christmas bubble bar looks so cute! May have to pick one up

Snow fairy is my fave I can’t believe you haven’t tried it yet it’s gorgeous!! I would definitely recommend the mask of magnaminty too – make sure your boyf leaves it on for 20 mins as that’s enough time for the mark to harden! I was smelling the Knightwing jelly the other day and couldn’t place it’s smell and now now you mention it it’s definitely wine gums!! You’ve solved the mystery for me!! Great haul! Good luck on your spending ban! 😉 you’ve got a lot more willpower than me lol! Xx
