Recently whilst watching Beautybyalicee‘s YouTube channel I had a sudden realisation that I haven’t worn any pink lipstick in SO long. So on Saturday morning I decided I would sit down and take some time to do my makeup as during the week I don’t really get time to do my makeup “properly”. Since purchasing MAC Please Me at the end of the summer I haven’t worn it very much so I decided to put together a look incorporating this shade.
I’m currently trialling the Arbonne Primer, so I used that all over my skin to help prolong my makeup. For foundation I chose L’Oreal Infallible 24 hr matte. At the moment I’m using two concealers, I recently picked up the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer so I have been trying that but as it’s quite drying I do like to use my Urban Decay NAKED Skin Concealer as well. As always I like to set my base using my Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder. I added a bit of colour back into my face using Soap & Glory’s Solar Powder Bronzer.
I have been enjoying using eye shadow to fill in my brows at the moment to keep them looking more natural, Primal from the Urban Decay NAKED Basics 2 palette is the perfect shade for me. A great product for eyes in a hurry is the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On & On Bronze, I blended this over my lids using my finger then added a bit of UD Primal through my crease. Over the last few weeks I have used the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara almost every day – it gives my lashes so much length.
I lined my lips using MAC Whirl lip liner, which is slightly darker than my chosen lipstick but makes a great lipstick base. Then last but not least I used MAC Please Me matte lipstick, which is a pretty warm toned pink. The overall look is quite simple but I feel like a bit of shimmer on the eyes makes all the difference.
