MAC of the Month | November

This month I found it so hard to pin point one MAC lipstick I’ve been reaching for more than the rest! If you haven’t already seen it – last week I uploaded a new YouTube which was my five must have MAC lipsticks, so it was definitely a big toss up between all five of those shades.

My final decision for November’s MAC of the Month was Brave! Brave is a satin finish nude pink which I get so much wear from.Β The reason why I chose this shade is because it’s the perfect pink shade, it’s quite neutral which makes it ridiculously versatile. Thus you can wear it with such a variety of looks and it also works really well with many different skin tones. Brave is a great all rounder lipstick and if you aren’t big on MAC lipsticks I would really recommend trying this as I’m certain it will convert you!

I love wearing Brave with a lip liner, as it really helps boost the wear time of the lipstick. It works very well with the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk as well as the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in East End Snob. The Satin finish does have a fairly good wear time anyway but I feel like pairing it with a liner just gives it that bit of an edge!

I love the satin finish as it is hardy, but without being too drying on the lips. During the colder months I do prefer to wear more gentle lipsticks as half of the time I end up with horrible chapped lips!

I’d love to hear what lipsticks you’ve been reaching for recently?

  1. I’ve swatched it in the store but haven’t actually put it on. I have so many MLBB shades but this one gets a lot of love on the blogs – one day I will succumb to this I think! πŸ˜› Lately I’ve been enjoying Clinique Black Honey!
