I’ve had a bit of a love affair with LUSH this year, and their festive products have been no exception! In the winter months there’s nothing better than having a bit of a pamper after a long day at work. I love to run a nice hot bath, pop in a bath bomb in & whack on a fresh face mask. So when I heard about the Cranberry festive face mask I knew I had to get my hands on it.
LUSH say this festive face mask is inspired by traditional Christmas ingredients to deep cleanse, soften and nourish skin. The dry winter air and indoor heating during the winter can leave your skin feeling a bit dull so this mask has been formulated to combat this.
The cranberry face mask has the most festive scent, with a hint of rose and fennel to keep things feeling fresh. I do struggle with the texture of the fresh face masks at time, but LUSH have got it spot on with this one. It’s a super smooth mask which makes it very easy to apply. It sits very comfortably on the skin, over time you can feel the skin tightening slightly but I think this is good as you know the mask is doing it’s job.
I’ve used this mask three times, and a little goes a long way. I know LUSH suggest you will get 4-5 uses from this tub but I think I could get more like 15 which is great value for money.
For me personally, I like a face mask that leaves my skin feeling really well cleansed and gives back some moisture to my skin. The Cranberry mask does just that, the argan oil and rose clay leave the skin feeling luxuriously soft.
So far I have only tried three of the fresh face masks, but the festive cranberry mask has been my favourite by far (the two other being Oatifix and Love Lettuce). If you are looking for a little festive treat for your skin I would highly recommend trying this, or even if you are a little LUSH addict like me. I think this mask will only be around for a few more weeks, so make sure you act fast!
