LUSH Rosey Cheeks Fresh Face Mask | The Review

The LUSH fresh face masks are products that I really enjoy reviewing, as I feel as though these products work differently depending on your skin tone. Rosey cheeks is probably one of the only face masks from this range that I haven’t heard much about. At the beginning of the month when I was finally choosing my free LUSH face mask I decided on this one as I feel like it’s quite different to the rest of the range.

LUSH say “Find the happiness you seek by cleansing cheek to cheek with this gorgeously soothing fresh mask. A simple blend of kaolin, calamine and Turkish rose oil to delicately calm the skin and restore balance. Whether you’re feeling hot and bothered or just fancy showering your complexion with roses, cleansing calamine and kaolin will gently remove dirt while exquisite rose oil nourishes and tones your face. Calm, matte skin, here you come!”

I have really enjoyed using the Rosey Cheeks mask as it has a really easy texture to work with, and it applies really well. The mask contains rose clay which is what gives the mask such a great texture. I feel like the clay in the mask really helps to purify the skin and it left my skin feeling very well cleansed. Of the fresh face masks I’ve tried this has probably been the easiest mask to wash off due to it’s texture as well.

I tend to use this mask when I am having a bath, I apply it just before I get into the water so that I can leave it on my skin for a good 15-20 minutes.Β The rose clay and rose oil in this mask give it a very fresh and relaxing scent, so it’s perfect for using during a relaxing evening bath.

In terms of the effects this mask has on my skin, as I’ve already mentioned it does a great job at giving my skin a deep cleanse. It leaves my skin feeling very silky, and I do feel as though it calms down my redness slightly. I really suffer with redness so this has been a great help. I have been using this 2-3 times weekly and I’ve had about 8 uses from this tub so far, so it does last a bit longer than LUSH let out.

If you suffer with redness, or are looking for a calming cleansing face mask I would highly recommend trying the Rosey Cheeks face mask.
