I’ve recently got into a real routine with the beauty tools I enjoy using on a daily basis, so I thought I would share my favourites with you. I haven’t really delved into the world of high end makeup brushes as of yet, so most of the products in this post are drugstore/affordable.
First up I have to mention the original Beauty Blender. I honestly wasn’t sure about this to start with, but there is something about this sponge that blends my makeup better than anything else. The RT Complexion Sponge is a good dupe, but it’s texture just doesn’t compare to the Beauty Blender. I won’t go into too much detail as I’m hoping to write a full review soon, but I will just say it’s definitely worth the money.
My favourite foundation brush is hands down the ZOEVA Rose Golden Silk Finish Brush. Alongside being quite possibly the prettiest brush I own, this brush blends foundation like a dream. It’s very easy to clean and doesn’t shed at all. If you are looking for a new foundation brush I would highly recommend this one.
I recently purchased the Morphe M405 Contour Blush Brush and it has quickly become my go to cheek brush. I like to use this brush to apply contour and bronzing products as it’s the perfect shape. The head of the brush isn’t too big so it’s great for getting a precise contour. The bristles are very soft which allows you to really blend out your contour. Morphe brushes are so affordable too, and Beauty Bay have a great selection so I’d highly recommend checking them out.
When it came down to choosing my favourite eye shadow brush it was a much more difficult decision. In the end I decided on the ZOEVA 228 Luxe Crease Brush. This was the first ZOEVA brush I tried and is probably my most loved. It’s just the right size for blending out crease colours and considering I’ve had this brush almost a year it’s still in pretty good shape.
My final beauty tool favourite is the Make Up Revolution Pro Cleanse Brush Tool. I cannot tell you how much of a god send this product is, and at just £4.99 it is a real bargain. It’s made it so much easier to keep my brushes super clean, as the little ridges and bumps help reach all the depths of the bristles. As well as making it easier, it’s also made it much quicker for me to clean my brushes.
I’m currently on the hunt for some more affordable eye shadow brushes, particularly fluffy blending brushes so let me know if you have any recommendations.
