Blog Birthday & MAC Lipstick Giveaway!

I can’t quite believe it but this week my blog turns 1! The past 12 months have absolutely flown by, and I didn’t expect for things to turn out the way they have. When I first started writing posts for my blog I was purely writing just for me, I had no idea that I would gain such a lovely following and meet so many lovely people through it.

I’ve loved every minute of blogging, even if it has been a little frustrating and time consuming at times. It’s helped me rediscover my love of writing, and creativity. As well as being a place where I can come and write about whatever I like, I just love the freedom of it. It’s allowed me to be a part of an amazing community, which has it’s up and downs too. But it’s meant I have been lucky enough to talk to a whole lot of lovely people, and even made new friendships too which is really nice.

I can’t see myself ever stopping writing this blog now, but I know in the future things will have to change. With me going to University in September my blog may have to take a slight backseat, but I’m determined to continue writing even if things just need to take a slightly different direction.

So I guess I just want to say thank you to everyone who takes the time to read my posts, to those who follow me on my social media accounts and also those of you who have followed my YouTube channel. As a thank you, and to celebrate my blog’s first birthday I’ve decided to host a giveaway (UK only), in which you could win your choice of a MAC lipstick. As I’m you will know if you’ve read any of my previous posts, I’m a huge fan of MAC lipsticks and have got a little collection now. So I thought this would be the perfect prize for you all.

  8. What a generous give away; I’ve never owned a Mac lipstick but have had my eyes on coral bliss and fanfare! A big well done for all that your blog has achieved in such a short space of time; I’ve been blogging for a little over a year and a half and know just how challenging it can be at times, but you’re smashing it!

      1. Ooh lovely! I’m really into nude shades at the moment because of work, so it looks ideal and I want to try out finishes by MAC that aren’t matte (as much as I love them it’s what I have most of)!
