Well, you all knew this was coming – how could I go to a European city without taking a trip to Sephora?! I was actually quite surprised at myself as I was much more restrained in Sephora than I expected. I think this was partially due to the fact that European Sephora’s don’t have too many brands that we can’t get in the UK (unlike Sephora in the US). I instantly knew I had to get something from Kat Von D, and I had my heart set on trying some goodies from Sephora’s own brand.
I have always wanted to try some of Sephora’s face masks, virtually every Sephora haul I have seen has included some of them. I was intrigued by their Avocado range, which is said to be nourishing and repairing. So I decided to try the Sephora Avocado Eye Mask & Sephora Avocado Sleeping Mask, both of which I am very excited to try and may even review if that’s something you would be interested in?
Sephora are known for having a lot of miniature products and when I saw their mini Sephora Micellar water I couldn’t resist. This micellar water contains Calendular extract which is for absolute comfort, so I’m hoping this will work well with my sensitive skin. I also chose a miniature Sephora Lip Liner to go in the shade 18 Deep Brown. I never ever finish a lip liner, so I thought this smaller size would be really handy and it actually has a lovely creamy formula. I picked this particular shade to match with the liquid lipstick I purchased from Kat Von D.
Top – Bottom, Sephora Deep Brown & Kat Von D Lolita
The main event of this haul is definitely the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this product, and I’m very pleased to finally have my hands on it. Lolita is a stunning and unique shade, I would describe it as a darker version of MAC Whirl. The formula is very long-lasting whilst feeling comfortable on the lips. Once I have given this product a full testing I’m sure I will write a full review. Their were so many gorgeous shades in this range so I will definitely be trying more in future.
The last item in this haul wasn’t actually from Sephora, but I thought I would sneak it in anyway. I actually stumbled upon a NYX store whilst in Barcelona. I was trying not to spend too much money so just wanted to try something small – I spotted that they had eyeshadow pans so I thought this would be perfect. I went for the NYX Hot Singles Eye Shadow in the shade Diamond Lust as I thought this may make for a good dupe of MACs Nylon – so I will definitely report back on that.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Sephora haul, are there any items you’d like to try from Sephora?
Just incase you haven’t seen it already – here is the first part of my Barcelona vlog!
