My Top 5 Beauty Products Under £5!

IMG_5830

Hope you are all having a lovely relaxing Sunday. I have been seeing a lot of these kind of posts kicking around recently so I though I would give it a shot. I really enjoy putting together ‘Top 5’ posts – especially when it involves drugstore products. As I have said before I do love high end beauty, but there is nothing more satisfying than getting a good beauty bargain!

Maybelline 24 hr Colour Tattoo in the shade Permenant Taupe (£4.99)

This is not the first time I’ve talked about this product and nor will it be the last! These cream shadows are one of the best products the drugstore has to offer in my opinion. They are so long lasting and can be used to create a lovely base for any eye look. I chose this shade specifically as it has multi uses – one of my favourite YouTubers Emily Rose uses this shade to fill in her eye brows, as well as the lovely Ana from RavishingRoses! I’ve not tried this yet myself, but over the weekend I did buy an angled brush so I can give it a go.

Rimmel 1000 kisses lip liner in the shade Spice (£2.99)

This is quite a recent purchase of mine but I am so impressed with it. Rimmel lip liners are such good value for money and they really pack a punch. They have such a lovely shade range and are really long lasting on the lips.

Sleek Blush in the shade Rose Gold (£4.49)

I won’t go into too much detail as I did a whole post dedicated to this gorgeous blush (click here to read it). This blush is said to be a really good dupe for NARS Orgasm, and at a fraction of the price. I think it’s a really pretty shade and I love the way it looks on my pale skin. You just can’t go wrong with a bit of shimmer at this time of year!

Make Up Revolution Iconic 2 Palette (£4.00)

Yes, that’s right – just £4 for this beautiful palette. As I’ve mentioned before this is a great budget alternative to the Urban Decay NAKED 2 palette, it has a great mix of matte and shimmer shades. The Iconic 2 contains more taupe based shades so it works really well with the Permanent Taupe cream shadow I mentioned above.

Garnier Micellar Water (£4.19)

When I first bought this product a few months ago I was a bit sceptical about whether it would really be good at removing my stubborn eye makeup – but boy was I wrong. It is such a gentle cleanser and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I am still using the same bottle I purchased back in April and I am barely half way through it yet. If you haven’t tried this product before I highly suggest you do so!

What are your favourite budget beauty products? Have you tried any of these products?

I would love to connect with more of you on social media, here are my links and feel free to leave me yours in the comments below!

  1. These are all really beautiful, and I have that colour tattoo, I think. Mine is called Tough as Taupe, but it looks very similar. Different country, different names? =)

The Wet n Wild silk lipsticks are an excellent bargain, as well as absolutely anything from NYX and ColourPop. Milani Baked Blushes are also ridiculously high quality. Have you ever ordered from ColourPop?

    1. Yeah I think they do have slightly different names here in the UK! I’ve not ordered from ColourPop before, I think I’ll have to look into it as I’ve heard lots of good things. I really want to try some Nyx products too! xx

      1. It ships to the UK, and at least in the US, it’s free shipping on orders over $30. =D It’s really excellent quality, I highly recommend it. Your skin is so beautifully fair you could wear a number of the lighter lippie stix, like Cake. Shark Attack would be a beautiful eyeshadow on you! (Also, I just now noticed how beautiful your eyebrows are, they look like Deanna Durbin’s ❤ <3)

      2. Ohh dear, I can feel a haul coming on already – you are being such a bad influence haha! Thanks so much for your recommendations! & oh my gosh you really think so? I’ve been having real trouble with my EB’s lately, so that’s so nice to hear! xx

      3. Good! 😉 I will gladly be a bad influence with everyone when it comes to ColourPop. They look beautiful! I swear, eyebrows are a problem area for everyone, I’m only satisfied with them for one day after plucking. =P Yours are gorgeous!

      2. I’m so proud of you haha. It’s probably a good thing that you’re home for the summer now so you don’t have to worry about rent, and can splurge a bit on beauty products! I’ve booked to go to London in 3 weeks now so I’m trying to be good until then 🙂 xx

  2. I just love the products you mentioned. Haven’t tried them myself, but I love the look of them. 😀
Also, from other reviews, I’m pretty sure that all of them are incredible. 🙂

I really want to get the Color Tattoo and the Micellar Water, too.
I wish Sleek was available here, because their blushes are just so pretty! 😀

  3. I really love the color tattoo’s by Maybelline. I haven’t used mine in a while but this post reminds me that I need to get mine out. I recently bought a Micellar water by Simple. I really enjoyed that too! Great picks! 🙂 xo
