Mini Drugstore haul // My new found love for Superdrug!

Hello again Everyone!

I am starting to get the hang of the whole blogging thing, and have decided on a bit of a routine – I am going to try and post three times each week – Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Over the weekend I popped into my local superdrug – I am normal always very loyal to Boots, but I was keen to try something from the Zoella beauty line and I also wanted to try out a B. make up brush (Superdrug’s equivalent to No7 by Boots!)

I was meant to be on a makeup ban until payday (…Ooops!) so this is quite a small haul for me. I picked up the Zoella Fizz bar which I have used already – I used 2 squares for my bath and the fizziness was very satisfying but the scent wasn’t as strong as I would have liked. I think it’s quite good value for £4 though as you could use the bar for 4 baths+!

As I already mentioned, I wanted to try out one of the B. makeup brushes. They are made from Taklon (the same material as RT brushes) and are priced about £1.00-£2.00 cheaper than their RT equivalent. I got the eye shadow blending brush which was £5.99 and I am so impressed considering the price. Click here to read a bit more about this brand, I would recommend giving their brushes a go, as a slightly cheaper alternative to the RT brushes.

I also picked up the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge (any tips on how to keep this bad boy clean would be much appreciated) and Loreal Brow Artist Plumper – I have been after this one for a while, and think I will be doing a ‘vs’ post comparing this with Benefits Gimme Brow in a few weeks time!

Last but not least I picked up a Maybelline Color Drama velvet lip pencil in the shade ‘Berry Much’ – I wore this when I went out on Saturday night (shameless selfie below!) and I absolutely love it, can’t wait to buy a few more shades from this range.

I am now on a strict spending ban until my trip to Plymouth on saturday, when I am planning on hitting the MAC store.
