I’m sure you will have all seen and heard about this already but I just had to share my excitement with you! Tanya Burr is on the cover of this month’s Glamour magazine, and as if that wasn’t enough to be excited about Glamour are also giving away Clinique minis with each magazine.
If you are a regular reader of my blog you will probably know I have a serious problem with lipsticks, so I was super excited when Mark came home from work yesterday with two copies, just so I could have both lipsticks without breaking my spending ban (I’m such a lucky girl!!). The lipsticks are the Clinique Lip Pop’s in Cherry Pop and Nude Pop. I am stoked to add these to my collection as the only Lip Pop I own so far is Melon Pop, which is a bit too summery for the weather we are having at the moment.
This is quite an exciting moment for the blogging community with regards to Tanya being on the cover, as I’ve heard on the grape vine that Tanya Burr is the first blogger/ YouTuber to grace the front of Glamour. I think it’s an amazing moment as Tanya is a great role model for the younger generation. She’s a lovely lady who has her head firmly on her shoulders and is quite conscious of wider issues going on in the world too.

I love those cute autumnal berry lip shade and as you said, you are so lucky to have this as a gift. Great girl! Yes, even I too adore Tanya Burr and what a great photo shoot cover as her makeup looks incredibly gorgeous.

I got both colours too, such a great deal as you get a good amount of lippie despite it being a miniature!! I haven’t read the magazine yet, but I’m a big fan of Tanya, so I’m delighted she made the cover xx

I bought this last week but did find the article rather odd – on the front she’s ‘Rise of the Vlogging Superstar’ and inside she’s saying how she doesn’t enjoy vlogging anymore! I also got the clinique red lipstick – and that’s really the reason I bought it as I’d been wanting to try a clinique lippy! Might try and get the high impact mascara too as I’ve heard it’s good! x

I got a copy of the magazine with the mascara sample in it and so far I am LOVING it! So much so that I think I’ll get myself a full size tube on payday!

I’ve not had a proper read of it yet, was planning to read it tonight after work.. Sounds a bit controversial though! The main reason I bought it was for the samples though hah. It’s so rare to get lipstick samples so I was super excited about it xx

It didn’t feel much like an interview – more a fact sheet of you don’t know who she is! I expect big fans will be a bit disappointed as there was no new info to me in there!

Aw man, I wish we got makeup samples in magazines! Most we get is skincare sample or just a coupon. Those colours look great and minis are so handy!

I wish they did that here as well! Or maybe to add a few more extra pages if it costs as much as the British one! Not to mention the freebies which are literally nonexistent! 😕xx

You get the foundation but I’m sick of the same shampoo sachets from the same brands… On heavy rotation! 😅😅😅

Hahaha I am! Such a good offer though! I will do! I have been wanting to try more of the Clinique Lip pop lipsticks for a while so I am grabbing that opportunity whilst I can 🙂

Mark is DEFINITELY a keeper! Tom needs to take some tips from him lol! I managed to get my hands on both too and I am so impressed with the lipsticks. Cherry Pop is definitely my favourite of the two as I found Nude Pop to be a bit too…. nude lol. xxx
