London Haul Part 2 | MAC, Boots & H&M Beauty.

After being on a spending ban for the month of November, I knew my bank account would take a bit of a hit whilst we were in London. My main aim was to treat myself to a few products in Selfridges as they had 10% discount over the Black Friday weekend.

Real Techniques Eyes Starter Set – This was an absolute bargain at just £11.99 for five brushes. I’ve been meaning to purchase some new shadow brushes so these will come in really handy.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer – I’m yet to find a drugstore concealer which really does it for me, so as I like the Healthy Mix foundation so much I thought I would give the concealer a go.

Bourjois Rouge Glamour set – This set was a free gift from Boots for spending over £15 on Bourjois (I also bought a lip product as a present for someone, which I can’t include incase she reads this post!). The set includes one of their Rouge Edition liquid lipsticks ‘Hot Pepper’ with a matching nail polish, Volume Glamour Waterproof mascara and a lovely little eye shadow quad.

MAC Fix + – Fix+ is one of those products that has always intrigued me, but I was a bit unsure about trying it. It’s a skin refresher and finishing mist, but I think this will be really good for dampening my makeup sponges and for intensifying eye shadows.

MAC Whirl Lipstick – Velvet Teddy’s darker counterpart, Whirl is even better than I expected. It’s quite cool toned and it looks very bold on my fair skin, but I’m in love with Whirl already.

MAC Satin Taupe Eye Shadow – So when I got to the till at MAC, I had a bit of an impulsive moment and decided to get this at the last minute! This is the first MAC eye shadow I’ve tried and I look forward to seeing how it compares to my drugstore shadows.

H&M High Impact Eye Colour in Supernova – I’m so excited to have finally got my hands on some H&M Beauty! I have heard lots of wonderful things about these eye shadows so I knew I had to purchase one. I’ve been looking for an inner corner highlight shade and I think Supernova definitely fits the bill.

  1. would love your thoughts/a review on the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer, that foundation in the same line is one of my all time favs and would love to see whether I should try out their concealer as it’s never come to my attention that there was one x_x *hides behind hands*

  2. I almost bought some H&M products today and then the jumper I was buying went out of stock as I was about to press pay, so got annoyed and left! Can’t wait to see what you think though! Going to Cambridge tomorrow and going to check out Whirl, keep seeing it everywhere at the moment! xx
